How Gratitude will increase your confidence immediately.

Here I am sitting in beautiful Hawaii with my family. This place is truly heaven on earth. While I have heard that before, it never really meant anything until I experienced it first hand.

There is beauty literally all around me.

Guess what happened? I began to focus on some things that were on the negative side and started not feeling good.

Have you ever done this? You have every reason to be totally happy and peaceful, yet one of those negative thoughts pops in your head?

So that cycle began and here is how it works. One negative thought, leads to another, which leads to another. I didn’t even have to do anything, it automatically flows just like water flowing down a waterfall.

I did not like at all how I was feeling and decided to apply something I had learned, which automatically makes you feel better.

What was it? Well, if you read the title of the blog, you would probably guess it right, Gratitude.

I was interrupting those negative free flowing thoughts and MADE A CHOICE, to focus on all the things I could be and am grateful for in life.

You know what happened? Within 5 minutes I began to feel better, within 10 I was feeling great.

You know what is incredible about this gift? We all have it. All you have to do is MAKE A DECISION, that you are going to begin focusing on all the things you are grateful for.

I MADE THE DECISION. I began to list out all the things I was grateful for.

I am grateful for my health. I am grateful for being able to see. I am grateful for being able to hear and speak. I am grateful for being away with my entire family in a magical place.

I just kept listing out all the things I was grateful for in life. Just by doing that I felt like a new person, in a great mood. All I did was decide to change my focus and be grateful for everything I could list.

So you know what? You can do the same thing anytime you aren’t feeling too great.

I truly couldn’t believe how quick and easy it was to go from feeling down and crappy, too feeling incredibly grateful and happy for all I have in my life.
